My Artistc Journey
I have been drawing ever since I was 5 years old. However, my passion for art did not start until my junior year of high school. I attended and graduated from Loy Norrix High School in 2016. During my junior year of high school, I had this urge to draw, and this one day I was in the back of my law class doodling - I had this binder full of drawings. My law teacher saw my work and encouraged me to show the Advanced Art teacher. So, I took her advice and showed the AP art teacher my work. It was her comment that sparked my desire to become an artist, she told me "I should have been in her class". From that point on I worked, blood, sweat, and tears, tired-less nights to hone my skill and to master my craft. And despite graduating from Kalamazoo Valley Community College with a certificate in illustration in April of 2019, I continue to learn (pretty much I am somewhat self-taught) and grow, so I can become a successful and established artist. Theres nothing more pleasurable than to wake up and to do something you love to do, and I love art, I love to create, and I want to do it until I cannot.
